Bridport RFC Junior/Youth Section

Our club, based at Bridport Leisure Centre, has some great facilities for players of all ages and abilities. With RFU qualified coaches at all age levels from 6 to 18 we are confident you will have a great time with us.

Bridport RFC was only the 3rd Club in Dorset to be presented with the RFU Seal of Approval which is awarded to clubs who show amongst other things good practice in both training and child welfare. The SoA documentation is available for inspection by prospective members and their parents.

Our season starts on the first Sunday in September and runs through to the end of April. Players of all abilities are encouraged to have ago and join the Club. Our training sessions start at 10:30am until noon. The older age groups also train one evening a week under floodlights.

The Bridport Junior/Youth section has over 200 players, but is always willing to accept more. We have a strong fixture list which involves playing other clubs both away and at home. All the players receive sausage and chips and a drink after every home game.

Bridport RFC also has a commitment to enter primary schools in West Dorset to teach pupils tag rugby. Each year we run and host a schools tag festival which attracts 20 school teams and is probably the largest festival of its type in Dorset.
